we will have notebooks as long as we exist!

yes, probably the paper ones :)

Think about it, humans have been drawing and writing since the beginning of time. And as long as we feel the need to express ourselves, we will continue to do so!

About Fin!

Welcome to Fin where geometric forms, symbols, and colors meet your stories.
Founded in 2020, Fin is a place for our own designs & products we make ourselves, items we like to use on a daily basis, and things that feel good. Because we believe stationery is all about feeling good!

It all started when we couldn't find notebooks we liked, so we decided to make our own, and over time, we added more helpful stationery products. Today we offer a wide variety of products. Most of them are handcrafted with a great amount of skill and attention to detail at our studio in Hertford.
We hope you can find something from your soul in any Fin product and enjoy it!

Fin Story

Where Does This “Fin” Come From?

My husband Anil, who has talent in nearly everything, is also a windsurfing teacher. During the first time we met, of course, I wanted to learn how to surf, and Anil started teaching me windsurfing with great patience. In the beginning, I learned to stay in balance and understand where the wind is coming from, and then to use one of the most important parts of the board, "fin".

"Fin" actually means the fin of the board, in windsurfing, it means the part that guides the board. It has a big part in controlling the board, giving direction to it, and being able to stay in balance...

Now even we can sail together on the waves, it has given us a good direction to start.

When establishing Fin Studio, we first wanted to be sincere. We wanted to meet people who are on their own wave like us and move forward with them. And our most common aspects came to mind, the sea, the wave, and the surf. We do not remember who first thought of Fin, who thought of it, how we decided, but somehow it was always in our minds.

Even when we were dreaming, we thought of Fin and finally, it happened, Fin became real in September 2020 after 4-5 years of dreams and 2 years of serious effort! We hope that we will accompany you in the stories you choose and will proceed together…

Don't forget to share us in your story!
