Welcome to the Fin World where geometric forms, symbols, and stories meet with colours.
Fin opened its virtual doors not long ago, in 2020. A place for my own designs & handmade products, items I like to use, and things that feel good. Fin is not only an online shop but also a creative studio in Hertford.
It all started because we couldn't find notebooks we liked, so we decided to make our own, and over time,
we added more helpful stationery products.
Fin designs have a colourful, minimal, and lively structure. They aim for simplicity, ease of use, and sustainability. Fin products are now sold in many beautiful independent shops in 80 different cities.
Today we offer a wide variety of products. All of them are handcrafted with a great amount of skill and attention to detail
at our small studio in Hertford.
We first design, draw, then print, cut, and sew. In other words, every step of a Fin notebook that you have received goes through our hands!

Fin Story
Where Does This “Fin” Come From?
My life partner Anil, who has talent in nearly everything, is also a windsurfing teacher. During the first time we met, of course, I wanted to learn how to surf, and Anil started teaching me windsurfing with great patience. In the beginning, I learned to stay in balance and understanding where the wind is coming from, and then to use one of the most important parts of the board, "fin".
"Fin" actually means the fin of the board, in windsurfing, it means the part that guides the board. It has a big part in controlling the board, giving direction to it, and being able to stay in balance...
Now even we can sail together on the waves, it has given us a good direction to start.
When establishing Fin Studio, we first wanted to be sincere. We wanted to meet people who are on their own wave like us and move forward with them. And our most common aspects came to mind, the sea, the wave, and the surf. We do not remember who first thought of Fin, who thought of it, how we decided, but somehow it was always in our minds.
Even when we were dreaming, we thought of Fin and finally, it happened, Fin became real in September 2020 after 4-5 years of dreams and 2 years of serious effort! We hope that we will accompany you in the stories you choose and will proceed together…
