We use 100 gsm, recyclable FSC Certified and ivory colour paper for the inside pages of the notebooks. We also use G.F Smith papers for the covers of the notebooks. All papers we use in notebook production are FSC Certified.

Our Notebooks

“We sew them one by one, fold them carefully, and use a traditional wooden book press.”

Gmund Bier Series

In this series, we used perfectly finished Gmund Bier Papers, Pils, Ale, and Bock. This remarkable paper from the Gmund mill is made using elemental chlorine-free pulp and spent brewer's grain. The names of the collection belie their origins: Lager, Pils, and Ale are just three of the options. There is an embossed logo detail on the lower front corner of the notebooks.

Nature Series

Discover the charm of nature with our special set of notebooks representing soil, seed, water, and air. For Nature Series, we prefer 250gsm high quality 30% recycled cover produced with 100% green energy with a subtle fleck. The name reflects the fact that it is made partly using the residue from the industrial processing of crushed citrus fruit coee nuts olives kiwi and corn! There is an embossed logo detail on the lower front corner of the notebooks

Our Leather goods

The leather we use in our leather products has completed its production processes according to sustainable production. All the leathers we use are only by-products of the food industry and are produced and processed in Turkey.

Our Packaging

All of the cardboard we use for packaging and shipping is made from FSC-certified cards or recycled paper, and 90% of the range is made in the UK using small manufacturers. We use a 30-biodegradable and compostable cello bag as a preservative in the packaging of the notebooks.

Materials We Do Not Use!

There is also a list of materials and practices that we have committed to never using due to their unacceptable risks regarding hazardous chemicals, health, animal welfare, and biodiversity loss.

  • Exotic skins

  • Fur

  • Leathers from Brazil and Bangladesh

  • Products derived from endangered forests

  • Illegally processed leather

Zero Waste!

We try to evaluate every piece that is increased during the construction phase. We use the pieces of paper left over from the paper cuts in the packaging. In this way, your product shakes less and suffers less damage when shipped!

“We support recycling to the fullest and we strive to use even the smallest part of it whenever we can!”
